Over the past two decades, we have established a enduring collaboration with ETS colleagues in Montreal, focusing on various aspects of pattern recognition and machine learning. Throughout this period, our collective efforts have resulted in the publication of more than 100 scientific papers, and we have jointly supervised graduate students at both UFPR and ETS.

We initiated our collaboration with Prof. Heutte as part of the CAPES-SticAmsud project in 2014. Since then, we have been working together on various topics, including Document Image Retrieval and Medical Image Analysis.

University of Wellington, New Zeland

Our collaboration with Prof. Gomes centers around data streams, an area in which he specializes. Together, we have co-authored papers addressing topics such as computer security and the application of Random Forests to imbalanced data streams.

IBM Research

Our collaboration primarily centered around texture classification We have supervised graduate students and published over a dozen peer-reviewed papers on this subject
